Dvd: Natural History of the Island of Menorca.
This project is an eight volume encyclopaedia on video and DVD. Each volume of the collection deals with one or two different topics, beginning with the island´s geological history discussed in volume 1, continuing with the fauna present on the island before human colonization, some 5,000 years ago. Then, we have the botanic world and wild mushrooms, included in the same volume.

Another volume deals with the great variety of invertebrates, chapter in which we visit the bottom of the sea and are introduced to some of its inhabitants. The underwater world of fish and the marine environment is an ample topic that could not be left out of the collection. Next, we see the different species of reptiles and amphibians. From here, we move to the winged world on the island, its birds. And finally, the last volume will be dedicated to the most hidden away and difficult to observe animals that we find on the island: mammals.

This is a collection about natural history of the island of Minorca that no other Spanish island and almost no other province have now in production or already produced.
The production of the collection HNIM (Natural History of the Island of Menorca) would not be possible without the financial support of remarkable sponsors such as: the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Consell Insular de Menorca and the Minorcan Studies Institute. Collaborators also contribute with the professionalism which characterises them in Menorca; this professionalism is what this collection deserves for the people living on this island.
